B**llocking Sh**e!
Is that really the best way to weight-tune/trim it?
What is the insurance coverage? Do you tell them what actually happened, or is it better if you slipped on a leaf?

Yes, bl-dy sh-te indeed! And worst thing is, I have no-one else to blame. It was me who only used one strap to tie down the bike, thinking it was just a short drive. But I forgot about all the roundabouts. :-(

What insurance? The bike is "off the road" and have no insurance. That's why I took it in the van in the first place. And the excess on any insurance would probably be more than the repairs anyway... It is just annoying, since I am trying to sell the bike, and now I have to fix it first.

How f**king annoying! :( :( Hope the repairs won't cost too much. :( :(

Yes, rather annoying I'd say! ;-)

Oops :(

Why are you trying to sell it? You once told me (after a few beers) that it was the perfect boik, with Italian engineering and German design. Or something like that ;-)

JW: I still think it is the "perfect bike" for an amateur wannabe-racer like me. ;-) But I am probably selling it for similar reasons as you had for selling the blue Beetle. :-) Last weekend was the first time I rode her since Easter 2009, and I just can't use her the way she should be used anymore (or rather: Around here). Call it age or say I am just not so dedicated to pure biking anymore...

Sounds reasonable and familiar. So, are you going to build a proper H*F* room once it's been sold, then? ;-)

I have a proper HiFi room already. It is called "living room". ;-) It just needs to be tweaked a bit. A dedicated room would not be used enough to motivate it. Not right now anyway...
